Know Your Test Centre

Before the date of examination ensure the location of test centre.. At the day of test, arrive there at least 30 minutes prior to your exam scheduled time.

You are requested to check in when you arrive at the test center. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, you may not be admitted, and you may lose your test fee.

Part of the check-in procedure will include identification (ID) verification. You should bring the relevant ID proof with photograph and the test admin will verify your identity.

Test Center Environment

Test centers do not have large waiting areas. If friends or relatives accompany you to the test center, they will not be permitted to wait in the center or contact you while you are taking the test.

Personal items, such as cell phones, purses, or handbags (see What to Bring to the Test Center ) are not permitted in the testing room. Similarly testing aids, such as calculators, notes, or study guides, are not allowed at any time of examination. Make sure you understand these rules before you arrive. Before being seated at your workstation, you will be told where you can store your personal items. Storage space is limited, so please plan accordingly.

Weapons, including but not limited to firearms, knives, or any object that could be used as a weapon, are prohibited from the test center. These items are not allowed on the premises and may not be stored in the provided lockers. This policy includes off-duty law enforcement officers and persons with conceal and carry permits. Only emergency personnel responding to an incident at a test center are excluded from this policy.

Testing Room

The KELTRON exam is administered in a room with private computer workstations.

On occasion, weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the test administrator's control may require a delayed start or the rescheduling of your test appointment. If technical problems necessitate canceling your test session or prevent reporting of your scores, you will either be offered the opportunity to schedule another test appointment free of charge. These remedies are the exclusive remedies available to examinees affected by technical problems.

Testing must begin promptly once you are seated at the computer.

During the Test

You have two hours in which to take the KELTRON exam, but plan for a total time of approximately two and half hours

You will not be permitted to leave the Examination room without the test administrator's permission.

You will not be allowed to eat, drink, or use tobacco while in the testing room.

Access to telephones, cellular (mobile) phones, or other communication devices or test aids such as calculators will not be permitted at any time while you are in the test center, during the test session

If you believe you have a problem with your computer, need to replace a keyboard, or require any other assistance, raise your hand and notify the test administrator.

You may not leave the testing room while timed sections of the test are being administered. If there is an emergency and you must leave your seat during the test session, raise your hand and notify the test administrator. The timing for the test section you are working on will not stop during your absence.

Repeated or lengthy departures from your workstation will be documented by the test administrator and reported to KELTRON authorities.

Disruptions in Testing and Potential Compromises

KELTRON & KETLTRON REC endeavor to ensure that the KELTRON exam is administered in a standardized and uninterrupted manner. If events occur that cause testing to be canceled or interrupted, involve a mistiming on any part of the test, result in a deviation from required testing procedures, raise concerns about possible advance access to exam content by one or more examinees, interfere with any other test taker or test center personnel, or otherwise disrupt or compromise the normal testing process, KELTRON and/or KELTRON REC will examine the situation and determine if corrective action is warranted, including score cancellation(s) or non-scoring of exams. If KELTRON and/or KELTRON REC, in their sole discretion, determine that such action is warranted, each affected examinee will be offered the option either to retest at no additional fee. If a retest is offered and an examinee selects that option, the examinee must retake the entire exam in order to produce a valid score. These remedies are the exclusive remedies available to examinees affected by disruptions in testing or potential compromises through prior access to exam content by one or more examinees.
